Works great, charge speed is very good and the app allows me to set schedules to charge the car during off-peak hours.
What took up two days to charge from 60ish percent up to 80 percent can now be done in under two hours.
Lightning strike most likely cause installed unit to not operate properly.
Price
Seeing the charge rate and computed cost to being able to turn it on or off from the app is all great features.
My husband and his friend, who is an engineer, installed it, so it didn’t cost me anything, but it might cost you a good bit.

The original 110v level 1 charger takes around six and a half hours to fully charge the pruis so if we use it for grocery shopping in the morning we are running on the hybrid gas engine during the afternoon

I did reach out to a neighbor to help install it though it is a long run and i wanted to make certain the correct gauge cable was used 50a is a big draw

Now it is locked out and only someone preapproved can use the charger with the app
