The j1722 connector is great quality and connects right to my ev without a problem. Bmw has a range of ev charger products. Rebate for installing this.

The cable is generously long for easy reach. The detached holster is nice for my needs as well.

The smart thing to do is to get an electrician to put in two circuits. I bought this product 07/13/2022 and had it professionally installed by a licensed electrician. It's easy to install as long as you have an outlet next to your mounting point.

It's one of the first i've come across that gives a * of being 'cutting edge' technology. It even has the cool green and black color scheme to complement the silver face. As far as these things go, it looks attractive mounted on the wall.

Cons

The 40 amp unit that i purchased seems to have a 9 awg charging cable instead of the 6 awg as listed. Ended up paying our electrician to install a tesla charger. Had the charger for 4 weeks. Charges about 2-4 miles each time now.
