Pros & Cons
Pros
Autel ml629 has a long extension lead that connects to the obd2 output on your car. It also has a usb port (usb lead supplied) for software updates. Allows you to dig deeper into faults and indeed reset codes.
Easy to use even for a novice. After contacting the seller for help i got a quick response with much clearer instructions.
It is well made and comes with operating instructions and a nice protective case. The goods were packaged nicely and felt good quality. Very well packaged. Excellent customer service.
The ml629 is easy to use and a massive time saver for diagnostic. Quick delivery, easy to setup and the free updates are a big plus. Very easy touse and navigate through the menu.
Cons
The ml629 is a disappointment. I have faults on my saab 9-3 convertible 2005 which this unit does not show. That makes the claim about lifetime updates useless.

Competitiveness
It was perfect for my clio and very easy to use but it was a more advanced reader than another autel code reader in my kit from years ago
This tool have access to so much more than those obd elm327 dongles.
I had been watching some professional mechanics using autel scanners and decided to up my game and look for something better.
