Pros

It is easy to use. It’s not big and bulky either. It is useful as a confirmation that the button pressed but i wish the volume was adjustable. The unit has many useful functions and is ruggedly constructed.

Cons

It is was not in the box. It was not installed. I was sent a you tube link by jason t@autel. It does not!

No internal batteries, and no ac adapter like is stated in the pdf manual for activating the unit by itself. The interface to my laptop is less than optimal - lose connection with the usb cable which came with the unit.

The user manual seems outdated. This is advertised as new 2022 but only has software for older models.

I have needed a new obd2 scanner for a few years now.

I also like the fact that it has lifetime updates for several brands of vehicles so i can use it on my family's cars.

I was looking for an obd2 scanner that was more advanced than the bluetooth models.

I purchased this product because of reviews i read online for autel products.
