The old sensors were supposedly rebuilt, then put in the new wheels. These are metal stem ones, as pictured. Stuck these in the old wheels (for winter), programmed them and once on the car proceeded with the relearning.

Have to have the autel programmer but if you have a few that need to be replaced it's worth investing.

I had recently purchased autel ts-508 tpms relearning tool to try my hand at getting them to work myself.

But, this tool can program new sensors provided they are autel brand universal sensors.
