Pros & Cons
Pros
Using to diagnose evap problem on 2004 chevy 2500hd and a a/c problem on a 2012 ford fusion. The tablet is snappy and the screen is clear and easy to read/view. The data list seems pretty comprehensive, and all self-tests are present.
Easy to use, makes tracking customer and vehicle history easy which is a necessary chore these days. The cable link to the obd2 port works well, but it is rather bulky and stiff.
The user interface is highly intuitive. Selecting the coding option is a breezebecause of the easy layout and how effectivelyautel designed that particular section in theprogram.
The amount of features this tool has is incredible. The tool comes in a nice plastic case with lots of storage and velcro straps to hold everything in place.
When you activate the tool, it begins a countdown letting you know when you'll have to renew. Downloading the updates was very easy.
Cons
This is very deceiving and a really made me upset. Just be aware. Otherwise, it is a it is an expensive souvenir screen.
Highlights
Quality
Great product , easy to use , fast on loading data
This is a really good professional obd2 scan tool.
Must of my testing and trouble shooting is done with this tool.
Heck, even some of the snap-on is missing.
Price
Money well spent to ensure everything is current.
Definitely recommend it from diy to professional it's worth the price!
If i never use it again, it was money well spent.
This particular model does not include the wireless bluetooth dongle which you can get at additional cost.
Competitiveness
Compared to the autel scanners in this price range.
Then again, using porsche piwis as an example, this is actually more intuitive for thousands less.
I’m guessing it’s just being thorough on its checks because it pulls more codes and faults than my previous products by other brands.
Compared to something like a thinktool pro, the race becomes a lot closer.
