It is very easy to navigate the menus and select the test or procedure that you want to do. The rechargeable battery makes it nice to recharge and use whenever you need it.
Cons
There is no mxsensor in this package. It only works on their sensors so if you need to swap out your winter tires for the rest of the year tires this tool is not the tool to use. Apparently, subarus require an obd compatible relearn tool, like autel's... Read More

Would like to be able to see strength of battery in sensors instead of ok but other than that very happy with this product.
I was impressed with the quality of my autel ts 501 and relented and bought the autel ts 408.
Since the new mx sensor was programmed with the same id as the original, no re-learn procedure was necessary.

Autel is a fantastic provider, and this is a great tpms tool.
Competitiveness
Very easy to use and program the new autel mx sensor.
I also tried it out on the wireless keyfob that comes with to car to test the signal strength.
I replaced it with an autel mx sensor.
Used an autel programmable sensor and it worked great.

My tpms light would come on every once in a while on longer trips

It would flash for 1 minute then stay on which indicated a sensor problem not a low tire pressure

So for the cost of this ts408 tool and one autel mx sensor i was still ahead and now i have a tool i can use the next time
