Pros

This book teaches you not only about the motor,but also you can learn how to fix diesel and electrics. It also teaches tips, pros,cons and warning for your car. This book is for anyone to gain knowledge to take better care of their car.

Cons

Useless, don't waste your $20. If repair to you means how to put air into a tire, then this book is for you! Basically useless for my needs. It is really bad when basic means describing how to pump gas.

I think i first saw this advertised in "science news", a thin little magazine i subscribed to for decades.

Price

Definitely worth the price and at least a one-time read.

The first few chapters alone are worth a few bucks.

Dummies books are always cheap and through and good for the value.
