Pros

Video and photos are good. I wish it had a capacitor that continued to record after the car turn off. Can also be set to take a 10 second video clip starting 5 seconds before the photo and ending 5 seconds after for a quick 10 second shareable clip.

The sd card that has the full rolling video files also has a folder with gps files. The app it connects to via wifi seems to work great.

This is like the ronco showtime rotisserie. I am a verified buyer of this and yes it really is this good. This is a showtime cam.

It has wide angle lens, and it gets crystal clear hd videos and pictures. Video quality is great, the wide angle camera has a visible fish eye effect (but nothing unexpected).

Next version to be bluetooth 4. Wifi connectivity. The wifi connects quickly and the connection is stable. If the camera is connected to a permanently powered outlet (to take advantage of parking mode), the wifi is on all the time.

Cons

Made from cheap plastic. This is really shady. This product screams bad business practice.

The mount is sturdy and holds well even on our rough roads here (first place i tested the cam).

It seems a bit muffled and easily gets distortedno dash cam is perfect and this one is certainly not either.

Received it within two days, easy install and set up.

Then i had a long trip planned and i started doing some shipping andi finally fond the d7 wth gesture photography.

Received the package on march 2, 2017 using amazon prime.

My unit had the 32g sd card installed when it arrived.

Packaging/appearance

The cam looks nice and the package also pretty good.

Upon opening the box you are greeted with your d-7, welcome card, usb material, and instructions.

No damage to the auto-vox package noted.

Competitiveness

It is identical to the video quality of more expensive cameras.

I exchanged several emails with auto-vox, but they either won't or can't answer the question.

Video quality is very comparable to the blackvue 650, which i also own.

I would say, the app is more stable than my other, more expensive camera's app.
