This is a good unit for the price but i would also recommend going with a wireless backup camera and avoid dealing with all the wires.

I didn't know what to expect from a $50 back-up camera but was pleasantly surprised.

    I had to use a crimp on connector for the ground and i have one of the good ratchet style crimping tool but the wires are so incredibly tiny that even though you think the connection must be good

    It may not bei probably spent 2 hours trying to figure why it would not turn on and it ended up being a bad ground
