The choice to power the camera from the 12v socket is what persuaded me to purchase as i do not like to tap into the wiring harness of the lights and you can switch the camera on anytime not just when in reverse

I would of preferred a magnetic fixing for the monitor rather than the suction cup but chose to use 3m tape to fix the screen to the dash

Had a problem with my m1procontacted the company and their customer service was 100 and resolved within a daylove my m1pro best bit of kit i have invested inso easy to install either plug and play or hardwire to reverse lightspicture quality is exceptional daytime and even good at nightif i had to recommend a reversing camera this is the one i would say

The power was taken from one of the reversing light cables behind the boot side trim and the cabling to the screen run underneath the carpet to the side of the drivers footwell and up the side of the centre console and from there across mostly out of sight to the small shelf to the right just above the lighting switch panel see first photo

It is tucked into the corner of dashboard so does not block view
