The kit also includes different mounting options. The cigarette plug is a good quality plug that doesn't wobble around. The install is pretty straight forward and easy, but i still had my mechanic hide the wires.

Auto vox v5 is best one to choose to work as it should! Compared to other models of autovox dash cameras, this one by far is the best that i’ve ordered. Upgraded from a vox m6. Autovox has unbelievable customer service.

This one is as clear as my 2018 & 2019 jeeps'. I am planning to buy one for my 2008 jeep grand cherokee. The image is sharp and clear for the rear and front camera. This is great for seeing in your blind spots.

Cons

Replacement sent out was also defective. What are the chances of a 2nd unit with same defect, right out of the box? Won't buy from you again. Wouldn't lock the sd card in place.

The camera quality is amazing on the v5 for both the front and back camera.

Camera quality is great, recording trips is a big plus.

However, the rearview camera is lower quality or has a defect as the video quality is poor.

My first cam that i ordered didn’t work and came with the wrong wiring harness.

Price

It cost $225 but this did fix almost 90% of the daytime glare issue.

This unit did drain the battery so today i ended up buying a new battery which cost $179 w/ tax.

Competitiveness

Though this package is costly, prefectly fits my car.

A few minor gripes:screen refreshes at 30hz.

I read from another customer review they had to buy a anti-glare film and apply it to the mirror so i guess that is the next purchase.

As usual, the real time-consuming chore was the discrete placement of wires.
