With the zombies, well now it changes a lot up.
Awesome take on the typical axis & allies strategy with the introduction of the zombie twist.
My husband likes this game and combined it with the original to make a different variant.
Con- could use more zombies piece if plays with the 42 edition.

The book has stories from the front lines to get you into the mood.
Competitiveness
Bought this for my brother (14yrs old) for his birthday and loved it.
All in all, i would give it a try, its a pretty good game for the price.
To remedy this, i purchased additional mini's for each country from a 3rd party.

Like others noted the default box does not include enough minis for setting up the game

The game even offers two other versions one that you can play along side the 1942 game and the other is a simplified version that you can play with someone who is new to the game

Ive played a lot of traditional axis allies over the years especially when i was a teen so i was very interested when i heard that zombies were coming to the game
