It was a little hard to get the tablet in but that is a good things as it would be hard for a child to get it out

The one problem is that it is somewhat difficult to disconnect it from the charger because the side of the hole for the charger is just barely big enough and hard to get your fingers in there to pinch the sides of the charger to release

I didn’t want to spend too much but i also didn’t want to have to buy a new case every two months because the current one fell apart

If you’re looking for a sturdy case for a kid’s ipad i think this one might not be your best bet but it won’t be your worst option

Just be aware that it’s entirely made of molded foam so it’ll tear or pull apart more easily than others if you’ve got a kid or adult who’s a little rough on their possessions note that there is no actual screen protector it’s just an open window in the foam so you’ll need to either use the stickon kind which i already had on so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me or just be careful not to scratch up the screen if you don’t want to bother with that
