We have unintentionally tested it during this time and it has held up against toddlers standing on it throwing it throwing things at it and even spills

The screen statically adhered to the screen protector that was on my ipad leaving some air bubbles between the 2 around the screen i’m not sure if the screen protector in this case is the issue or i needed to clean it first i removed the plastic film and placed the ipad in the case

Now that the ipad is in a case with a screen protector i could probably remove the one on my ipad and the issue would likely resolve itself

It is not water proof or anything fancy like that however we have had spills and splashes around it that the case was able to protect it from getting damaged
