Pros

The smell is heavenly! It has a musky, floral smell that is lite and fresh. The scent is not perfumey at all - very organic and not overpowering.

It lasts a long time as very little is required. Works fine. It is reasonably priced.

My hair is average thickness and straight. It helps my thin fine hair hold its style and doesn't flatten it out. Adds hold without weighing down my hair.

Cons

This last purchase of aveda liquid gel has been reformulated. I usually love the smell of hair products and lavender sounded lovely, but this one is just awful. This claims to be lightweight but it weighed my hair down.

Don't be fooled. It smells like rotten. It actually makes my hair stink.

Nice fragrance and holds hair gently, not too stiffly

Gel is now one of my fav products, it holds my frizzy hair in place, not heavy and washes out easily.

It's very thin and i always pour out too much.

Nothing to do with the product, but it leaked in the box.

A little disappointed this happened especially since the product is soooo expensive.

Usually, when i order this, i get it in a shrink wrapped package, with tape over the top cap to prevent inadvertent leaking.

This one was in a plastic envelope inside of a cardboard box.

The top was not taped, but appeared unopened.
