Pros

Have used it for 20 yrs. And still using it. It's pricey but will last a long time. It’s probably the best one out there in the marketplace!

The only gel that doesn't dry my hair out and make it look and feel like straw. Enhances my curls and reduces frizz. Hair has body after blow drying. I use it when i let my hair go curly and when i want to pull it back in a chignon.

Provides good hold and structure to my hair but also allows it to be touchable. Perfect for styling layered short hair (medium thickness) it controls flyaway hair issues and helps to style your hair.

Cons

Alcohol is bad for hair which creates dryness. It has a very strong alcohol odor.

You can't beat aveda products and this hairgel is strong hold.

So, i use this styling gel with another brand of straightener.

And the price is just about the same as aveda's store.
