Pros & Cons

Pros

I'm a harpist who needed a music bench with more precise height adjustments. Adjustability cranks the seat up and down easily and effortlessly. Not as finely accurate as a jensen, but not too far off either.

The aw bench comes preassembled, so there is no fuss. Also, assembly goes smoother when you use a 17mm (or 11/16th) socket wrench. Easy to assemble, but use a better wrench than the one provided.

The height of the bench is adjustable. It is perfect for my granddaughter. The height is adjustable for our growing family.

Overall, it’s okay for under $100 and mostly matches my piano. It is the same one finds with many grand pianos. It also supports a good deal of weight. It's attractive and functional.

Cons

This bench is not sturdy. It's basic physics, really, and down to bad design and some engineer (or was there ever an engineer in the design process? I suspect a patent lawyer advised against making it so the legs attach properly.

The * are hard to sit on. Even after loosening the flush side. It takes forever to go up or down as far as an inch. It makes noise if you move. There is no button release.
