I have a side by side comparison at my truetoad site this axis camera and a vivotek modelhere is my updated review the build quality of the camera is high quality featuring a full metal housing and weather seals

If you are using 3rd party software the full features of the camera should be available mostly due to axis excellent 3rd party onvif support

My biggest complaintsthis camera comes prefocused fixed lens and my camera has poor image quality out of the box after refocusing the lens that issue was corrected by me

Although the camera has many configurations and many view profiles available if you use the 360 view which is the best in my opinion the others may not be available in your 3rd party software as was mine

No ir illuminators the camera has no built in ir illuminators but the camera has ir cut filters which can use ambient light for low light situations
