Im wondering if some of the other reviews are mounting the cameras wrong or terminating them wrong or incorrectly setting them up in the software

All failed within a 2 year period but since 2008 weve only had to have 6 of the prior model repaired and these were cameras that faced windows with a lot of sunlight and since 2012 none of these

I did have to set the user encryption to unencrypted so my exacqvision nvr could connect
