Not a true 5mb camera as it is only 5mb in the full 360 mode if you use a smaller field of view the resolution is cut down to 1 or 2 mb still its a good camera the panorama mode is great for full left to right observation and the data stream is good enough for security work
Most 3rd party software supports this cameras raw 360 view image and some of them will also stream the other dewarped views by selecting the various channel numbers that correspond to each view
The 360 degree view on this camera is great with very high detail
You also need to format the sd card after installing by using the online browser setup software and then select mount when finished formatting
