I highly recommend this sleeve at it's price point over all others, especially with the tri-fold function.
You still have to be careful with the ipad it’s not a heavy duty protection case by any means.

I was naturally inclined to place my ipad in the sleeve screen up but was unable to because of the camera bump catching the internal cardboard panels at the bends

I found it much easier to fit the ipad with the screen face down and felt more confident in protection for the screen having it face down with the cardboard frame inside adding a layer of protection

The material on the inside is soft and i dont feel would scratch the screen unless some kind of debris got inside

I am one to always go with screen protectors and keep my devices clean so i wouldnt ever know for sure about protection the inside offers in regards to scratches deep or fine on the screen itself verse a screen protector surface

The cover feels a little too snug almost like pressing against the ipad screen
