Quality
The quality of this cover is great.
Great quality product for price, magnet to hold close is strong.
No difference that i can really tell as far as quality.
I do wish that the case had a white shell instead of black since my new kindle is white but other than that i am quite satisfied.
Price
There's a good variety of color options and the price is kind enough that i can swap out the case for a new one if i need to.
I do think the price should be lower for what you get but i paid to have the design i liked.
Competitiveness
However the color is much more redish leaning towards a fuchsia/magenta/red violet.

This is a really nice case but the color purple imo is more like a plum which is why i ordered this case

It isnt too big of a deal but i wanted them to be delivered on the same day and i had to wait a few extra days to be able to use the set

Edge — there is a sidebyside comparison in the product images that is very accurate

My old case had the rubbery binding along the edge and it came loose a month or two
