I usually order the kindle brand cover for my kindle but i just got the new paperwhite and realized that the older style covers did not fit

So far the cover has help up to a lot of abuse and travel i hope it lasts awhile but if it doesnt i will update this review accordingly just to note closing the lid turns the screensaver on it does not turn the kindle screen off

That doesnt bother me enough to subtract a star because i can simply hold down the power button and turn the screen off myself

The corners of that case began cracking and breaking off immediately

It does exactly what you would want a kindle case to do protect the device and have a low profile all while being visually appealing
