Closing the cover puts the device in sleep mode and it’s worked every time

Ive had problems in the past with other brands having a silicone type seal around the edges of the case that always end up stretching out and peeling off leaving the inner portion of the cover to separate from the outer cover

Yes i had to return it because there is more than one size of kindle paperwhite and this did not fit mine
