It supports tummy time which is essential to help a baby learn balance and strengthen his/her developing muscles. It comes with a prop-up pillow to support your baby when they can lay on their stomachs and hold their head up.

This mat is everything you want the gym mat to be! It has a lot of different textures and toys. Pad is thick and easy to clean. I love the abundance of textures and surprises for her to find all over the mat.

Cons

Music broke three times on three different mats. The music box is faulty. The toys and interactive pieces are great, but the electronics are made poorly. Now it's just an expensive mat with ok toys.
