Pros & Cons
Pros
Wheel design is awesome. Rolls smoothly and with no problems, even though it can go over gravel or just about any other surface you throw at it. Easy to push on grass or sidewalk. Glides like butter on regular pavement.
The city mini gt2 is the sports version of the city mini 2. It is hands-down the best stroller i’ve ever used. For really doing any jogging on uneven terrain you need a real jogging stroller, and for convenient lux pushing around town, you don't need ... Read More
Easy to unfold and fold. Love the one-step pull to fold design. It's bulky and heavier than i expected.
Amazing maneuverability. Maneuverability is great. It's one of those puzzle latches that need the sides connected to the top and then attached to the push button latch.
The mini gt2 is a great lightweight stroller. It holds up to 65 lbs, where as most strollers cut off at 45 or 50. I worry about durability and how it will hold up in the future.
Cons
The stroller doesn't flatten 100% itself so there is no safe bassinet/pram option for this stroller. It has a flawed clasp design. The car seat has unnecessary *.
The name of the registry is misleading. The customer service is really laid back and not at all good, they keep asking for the same info.
Highlights
Quality
So easy to use, high quality materials.
I love how sturdy it is and i use it all over for its wheels.
It’s flimsy plastic and sticks out so far that it makes the compact fold a lot less compact as it sticks way out from the stroller.
This is by far the biggest downfall of this stroller - that and the fact that you have buy every accessory from cup holders, be... Read More
Price
I was hesitant because it’s pretty expensive but turns out it is totally worth the money.
Now that i see how awesome it is, i say it's worth the $
For the price you are getting a very bare bones stroller and everything else is a big additional expense.
Purchased for a baby shower for a niece and the cost in order to get all the parts for car and comfort was $800 plus.
Shipping
They were prompt with a response and relieved my concerns.
I was concerned when only the jogger arrived, and quickly wrote the seller.
Packaging/appearance
Love that it is easy to bring along everywhere as well as packing down.
Competitiveness
We compared to all we knew how to compare to and this is the choice.
I wish i would have purchased this right off the bat, instead of getting a travel system from another brand.
Plus the britax b-free travel system is comparable in price to the gt2’s system and has a more desirable (based on user ratings... Read More
*accessories - one of the reasons why we chose this over the britax b-free was because of the option to add a bassinet.
