This potty is wide enough for his hips. There's a little lip in the front that helps catch his pee. It allows her to pretend like she’s going potty with me.
Cons
I take issue with a new product arriving like this. It arrived in a plastic unsealed bag without any instructions or packaging. If a boy uses the toilet the seal doesn't even meet up on the insert.

This was a perfect size for my toddler to sit and the removable hat is in place where it is easy to clean.
After two weeks since purchasing this one she woke up from a nap and said she wanted to go potty.
Its like a high pommel on a saddle-you better be careful and not plop down without knowing where you are situated.
