For the price, it seems to do the job well. I was tempted to buy an expensive brand to replace it, but was excited to find a replacement for my original on amazon for a fraction of the cost. Found it on amazon for less.

It crimps when you turn it to tight, whereas the chi would always leave a nice curl no matter what! My hairs are coarse and thick so i was looking for something that doesn't give my hairs that dry unhealthy look. She has that biracial hair- half afro ... Read More
It is not smooth! My ends are so split up and ruined after using this product for nearly 6 months that it is ridiculous! Do not like the fabric velvet like handle.
