You may want to add a sternum strap to make it easier on your shoulders its not at all an uncomfortable bag but even a cheap sternum strap is a huge improvement

I keep that laptop compartment zipper tied with a nifty loop and hook so it cant open without unhooking the loop which takes only a second but thats a solution for an issue that should not be there in the first place
