Pros

The result is that our 2 year old grandson loves it. We feel it’s opened up his imagination and allowed him to be more independent.

It is only a three foot deck so it is low but my daughter is still young. I am 5'2 and can still sit in the playhouse with her and go up the stairs. High enough to feel up high but not too big for the 1 year old to manage.

This playhouse is much sturdier than i expected. Some boards were warped, but that’s to be expected. The wood is very soft wood. Made for a lot of splitting wood.

Arrived in two medium sized, heavy boxes. Can be done with two adults, one drill, and a little patience.

Cons

Currently missing 1 piece near the side of the stairs. March 29 it is already covered in mildew.

Price

I am nervous that for $800 i got a crap set.

I called to get a quote for assembly and it was nearly $300 with a 3 month wait list.

Shipping

The delivery was early and the person was very polite and helpful.

Took 2 days with a couple buddies to get it all together.

Packaging/appearance

I opened the 3 boxes which contained probably about 1000 pieces of cedar, plastic, metal, and cloth parts.

(the telescope pictured does not come with the playhouse.

It comes in 3 boxes in five bazillion pieces.

Competitiveness

This set in comparison to the quality of my previous set was very much a huge huge let down.
