Pros
Rubber coating is thick and durable. No noticeable cracking or cut outs from the plastic.
These balancefrom everyday essentials plates are suitable for a home gym and are priced very competitively. I have a simple home gym that consists of a power rack, two bars and 400 lbs.
Cons
The bumper plates advertised as 25 lbs actually weigh only 23 lbs. The metal center is bent and because of this, the weight does not sit straight on the bar.
Interior of the package absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. No horrible rubber smell (of course there was some rubber smell to it, but nothing obnoxious)consmisleading/conflicting product description.

They are completely rubber and fold over from just the weight of the bar.

Can’t be beat for $1/pound which was my total cost.
Worth the price tag for what i want them for.
35 on a black friday sale which is nearing 2019 prices @ $1.

Packaging/appearance
Came in perfect condition and fit on my 1 inch bar with the assistance for smaller 1 inch weights.
It was packaged well and serves it's purpose.
One came a bit torn up visually but still intact structurally so i don't care too much.
Competitiveness
They are excellent quality and comparable to my prx brand
I think this is terrible advice, for a home gym you do not need commercial quality plates from rogue or similar brands.
It’s a rubber bumper plate and it does it’s job the same as more expensive plates.
They feel solid enough though obviously not as nice as rogue, etc.

On the next plates i purchased i washed with soap on a wet wash cloth then wiped off any soap with another damp cloth followed by a tad of oil on steel inside for rust prevention
