The cushioning is easy to hold and beats the straight metal handle bells. Mine sits on a carpet which adds to the problem but overall i am happy with the purchase.
They provide mini-wrenches to get it done.
Cons
Stand is very cheap & flimsy. As in they were dented. Refunding and hopefully getting a full set from another vendor.
Stand is not ideal for the 8lb dumbbells. It needs to be re-engineered because it’s not wide enough to hold 32 lbs of weight. It leaning against a piece of furniture, otherwise it tips over.
