Pros

The stands are durable and well made. It's sturdy, angle is adjustable and the metal holders are durable. These are very sturdy, wood book stands.

This product is as advertised. This is a buy that seems well worth it. Gongon.

The bamboo material is smooth and elegant looking. The finish is nice and smooth, the stand adjustment is easy.

The holder is adjustable and being adjustable helps with glare. I seems to have gotten larger now but it's still useable for reading.

Cons

It's a substantial chunk of bamboo and an amazing value--but completely unsuitable for an ipad stand. The lip of the ledge is too thin to hold most big cookbooks and it is badly affixed so it flips up on lighter books.
