Pros

Works great for cookbooks and ipad. I use it for my planner and write in it while on the stand and it doesn't tip or rock. Able to hold up my large textbook to study.

The page * on the bottom are quite stiff but do a good job of holding the pages. It’s sturdy and durable. The wood is also very pretty.

Thought of gifting it to several family members. Its lateral (ledge) part is adjustable and folds up. Takes very little storage space since it can be nicely folded up and doesn't flop open.

Cons

Bottom has insufficient friction. It slips down and lays flat with heavy books. Unless you're willing to keep a screwdriver within reach, it's not a functioning quality product.
