Pros
Bamboo needles are great because they offer a bit of friction that helps prevent the stitches from falling off. I like the dpns better than the thinkbamboo circular needles, because i think the circular connector isn't ideally design.
The affordable price is an extra bonus! Still, that's not enough for me to forsake this set. Very happy with my purchase.
Set of 5 sets of dpns are great for socks, mittens, etc. Set is great for traveling sock knitting projects. While i'm a newby knitter, my wife has been knitting for a long time.
The wood is good and springy. Their shorter length makes them easier to handle. They are smooth, but have enough grip to avoid dropped stitches.
Each needle is marked with both us and mm size. The sizes are etched into each needle. They are a perfect size, plus the stitches don't slip off the needle.
Cons
One of the size 5 needles is defective. It was chipped and stained over the chip. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

At my craft store a set of dpns is $3-12 and i got this whole set for less than $20!
Packaging/appearance
I like to keep my knitting needles stored in their original packaging, to keep them neat and all pieces together in the storage box i use.
My one complaint about this product doesn't have to do with the needles themselves at all, but rather the packaging.
However, these needles are packaged in very thin and easily punctured/torn cellophane.
