The battery is not the issue. The issue is the charger. Fairly disappointed. This is the bl-5l and will not fit if you need abl-5.

    I bought the twopack of bl5 3800mah extended batteries for my btech uv5x3

    The batteries slid onto the radio and locked into place properly however the feet standoffs on the bottom of the battery were too long compared to the oem feet on the radio side
