Pros

I love that these are slim and no-brainer to use. Even at the unexpectedly inflated price. These seem more than adequately robust for recreational use.

One charge suffices for the entire day. A minor nuisance, but worth it for this price and lithium battery.

These come programmed with ham channels. Unless you hold a fcc license, this product is * for you to use. Re-programming the radios for the legal frs frequencies in the usa is not a difficult task.

Used these for communication between a 24-foot uhaul and another vehicle while moving across the country. There are a lot of buildings to interfere with the signal but they get the job done. Similar performance around the neighborhood and campground.

Cons

One cable costs more than one walkie-talkie. When using the accessory port with a remote microphone, there is almost a full 1 second delay between pressing the remote ptt button. Poor battery life.

Good sound quality and decent range as well.

The battery panel pops off with a spudger or flat screwdriver but isn't water-resistant at all, nor held on with screws.

The channel-select buttons are easy to press accidentally and get off-channel.

For the price these radios work great.

What i did not like is that i own other radios of another brand and it only receive signal voices but couldn't talk back.

Compared to motorola radios purchased from walmart they are a much better buy.
