Pros

Great radio for the price. Easy programmable. Much better antenna than earlier models. I also have the uv5r5 and found it to be great easy to setup and use radio.

I am quite impressed with the overall quality of the radio.

Great radio and very versatile highly recommend it

Mine broke and i ordered a high gain antenna and it broke as well.

It's also louder and seems to be more sensitive in picking up channels as well as fm stations.

Price

For the price you can’t beat it.

I have only had it for about a month but so far i find it a great little radio at a very affordable price!

And for the jurisdictions on a limited budget it's a lifesaver.

Good value for the money because of long range in city with city interference.

Shipping

Fast shipping from azamon great using amazon prime.

Was shipped direct from the manufacture and seemed like it took forever.

The radio arrived but the cable is expected between the end of august and the first week of september.

Competitiveness

Its worked great, and the sensitivity compares to my kenwood tk-280 using the same antenna.

The menus are similar to the uv5r5 and easy to program.

This is more or less in line with the defect rate that i've experienced with baofeng radios, of which i've now purchased about ten.

The software available from baofeng to program the radio is horrible at best but i found using chirp (google it) is far better.
