Quality

Not a big power-house radio, but the size is awesome and programmability with the included cable was simple with the chirp software.

I am very happy with my purchase.

Note that this programming cable does not work with the full sized uv-5r series radios which use 3.

Even though ctcss is available in the radio's setup menu, it cannot be set directly with the keypad.

Shipping

The shipper was quick and exact in their shipping and listing.

Competitiveness

This radio perfectly suited my needs for an easily pocketable uhf ht.

I purchased this 1 watt radio as a learning aid as i am learning amateur radio.

It is a 70cm radio officially, but it works on 2m when you program with chirp.

The included programming cable has a micro-usb plug on it which can be used to charge the radio while programming it.
