Pros
This radio is not a pro grade product but the price is so low, you have to keep that in mind. Range in town is about 750 meters in a typical suburban neighborhood. Lcd display makes the radio very easy to program.
Cons
The main thing i dont like are the *. Also the battery life isn't the best. The only thing i do like is the separate charger some are on one. There is no power button on the nt.

The one area of concern is the clip holding the battery on is not all that robust

I tested it in montreal and the range in the city was a little bit more then 2km
