The transmit or pushtotalk button is a little too sensitive for me but thats not a big issue
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
My only complaint with this model is the sensitivity doesnt seem to be as sharp as the original uv5r even after adjusting the squelch to the minimum

Other than that i say thanks to baofeng for allowing people to get into the hobby of amateur radio without putting a hole in their pocket

Where this baofeng really distances itself is in the following areas

First of all i doubt this radio is 11w
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Im 85 certain i recall that 10w is the limit set by the fcc too if so then even if this radio were 11w it would not be legal
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
It really doesnt matter though because the output power is not what makes this radio or bundle stand out and power isnt as important as most folks think
