Happy with the radio just make sure you get the proper programming cable.
No programming info with the radio which is unheard of in amateur radio.
The radio quality is what you would expect for $33.

A very good radio at a very low price!

Took them on a cruise and was able to stay in contact with hour entire large group throughout the ship.

Only problem i have with it is the the clip that goes on the back the screws won't stay in for the clip
Competitiveness
The software that comes with thiese units is corrupt so just buy a good program to start, also a better antenna.
Set freq to our group leaders expensive motorola's and it preformed equal to them.

The issue of spurious emission while technically accurate is practically meaningless in my view

You can even extend the frequencies to include frsgmrs make sure you dont transmit though that would be a nono
