I like this radio for the money i spent.
No, it's not a $300+ yaesu or icom, but for $39 it's a solid, disposable radio that works real well inreal world scenarios.

Updated review - nov 6 2024 - i got a mystery parcel in the mail the other day from china.
The seller sent me a replacement usb cable as promised.
Competitiveness
Baofeng is the best value on the market.
Works just as well as the uv9r pro.
One thing to keep in mind is that this radio does not use the same upgrades or equipment as a uv-5$ radio from baofeng.
I got a long standard form email back from them explaining the difference between the “baofeng store” and “the btech store”.

Ip67 rating test will have to wait for a test as i just cannot bring myself to dunk any radio into a creek
