I plan to modify it to make it moveable. If your child is into fashion and athletics, this is the gift. It is flexible enough to allow the 3 year old to change her clothes without frustration.
The doll has beautiful braided (sort of rolled) long hair just like the girls today. Mattel need to seal the ends. The twists unravel so easy and by itself. They need to do this on braids hair too.

Hair at the front of the doll's head is painted on.
