Pros

Ndss worked with mattel to create a doll that represents people with down syndrome well. Can't wait for ken with ds and other races.

Mattel has a range of barbie dolls with different disabilities. Barbie with a prosthetic leg, wheelchair barbie, vitiligo barbie and chelsea with a scoliosis brace.

Cons

The doll is fine, but for some reason the seller sent me a doll that was opened and then taped shut again. How is mattel helping anyone by finally selling inclusive products? Where's the scoliosis barbie.

The packaging was damaged but the doll is perfect

I am happy with this doll overall, other than the packaging.

Even though this doll came in a secure and sturdy box with packaging bubbles, the upper corner was badly cracked.

Packaging for product could be a lot better, but that’s not amazon’s fault.
