Pros

Love that barilla pasta. Penne is our favorite pasta and barilla makes the best penne. Use this barilla penne with a red sauce, a white sauce or in a pasta salad.

Cons

The only ingredient in this pasta is red lentil flour. It also has a starchy taste to me. Even after boiling the pasta for about ten minutes it remains very firm and tasteless.

Each box contains only 8. Pk. No returns or replacement either.

Unlike other brands of red lentil pasta that break down with normal cooking, these are much more robust.

Unless i'm getting it for free or close to it, i won't buy any other brand.

I've tried saving a few pennies by opting for cheaper brands, but the superior quality of barilla for just $0.
