Pros

Two reviews in one - marinara sauce and alfredo sauce. Marinara is my favorite but others preferred the alfredo. The alfredo is creamy and slightly garlicky. Add parmesan or italian cheeses, as preferred.

It too has a full tomato flavor and a good meaty taste. It cooks up perfectly every time and the taste is divine. The tomatoes taste more authentically fresh and i love the kick in the spiciness!

The barilla chunky traditional is our new favorite. It's smooth and flavorful. It is rich and creamy without being over-powering.

My favorite pasta sauce, the barilla marinara, is actually the only sauce we use. This is my favorite spaghetti sauce i have found. We usually shop at trader joe's and i have been happy with their choice of sauces.

Both of these sauces taste homemade and are made with natural ingredients. I like to use these sauces with macaroni, but they're pretty flexible.

Cons

The second ingredient is sugar. After being in the fridge for a few days mold starts to grow on the cap. Is was watery, tasteless and without any merit at all. Like dirty dishwater as opposed to a pasta sauce.

I can't say it was the best sauce, but i liked the quality, consistency and taste well enough that i would buy it again.

Packaging/appearance

5 stars really), but i was very impressed with the marinara and the sturdy packaging that it came in.

Competitiveness

If you're not going to make your own sauce, these are as good as any other store-bought sauces i've had, and better than some.
