I've never used a harness with the strap that goes across their chest like this before, but it seems to be pretty secure.
Can’t complain about the product though, it just didn’t fit my dog.

They should add some in between sizes large was too big and medium was too small

Smalls don’t fit and mediums are too big but this harness is the magic fit for her
