Nice unit for making pancakes but does not work with thicker batter like waffle batter

The first time we used it the cook told me as chief bottle and dish washer that she had to be careful to not make the batter too thick or the batter would not flow out of the device smoothly

The batter must be a bit thinner about 2 tablespoons per quart of batter to get through this otherwise it just stops

I was a little annoyed i dropped it pretty lightly in the sink and the little metal piece that provides the resistance to close the little trap door on the bottom popped out super easily
